- POWER OVER ETHERNET FOR NON-POE DEVICES: This splitter can take an IEEE 802.3bt ( 4PPoE ) /at/af Gigabit connection from a PoE Switch or injector and "split" it into two separate outputs: a DC output with power up to 51 W (12 V / 4.25 A) through either a barrel-plug socket (in the style of a power adapter / adaptor) or a terminal-block, and a 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet data link.
- TOUGH ENOUGH FOR HARSH ENVIRONMENTS: an IP30 rating provides protection from tools and small wires greater than 2.5 millimeters; splitter supports temperatures from -40 - 167°F; DIN-rail mounting option for an easy fit in factories, plants, warehouses and other industrial environments.
- POWER & SPEED ABILITY: The total power available ( budget ) for the splitter depends on the Power Sourcing Equipment ( PSE ) device; max power output is 51 W from a max. 60 W IEEE 802.3bt Ultra PoE ( PoE ++ ) connection; data extender function supports tri-speed connections from the unit up to 328 ft. (100 m) to a non-PoE device at Classic-, Fast-, or Gigabit-Ethernet speeds through the RJ45 DATA port.
- GREAT DEVICE PROTECTION: Splitter protects devices from short-circuits, overloads, over-current and overheating; ESD protection up to 8 kV (air) and 6 kV (contact); port surge protection up to 2 kV.
